Guilty Secrets was the bigger than Ben Hur epic Shortland Street hammock promo, which teased viewers over the programme's Christmas hiatus. The campaign was accompanied by a website where viewers could find out more and leave their own guilty secrets. The promo was so successful it crashed the site when it first launched. The promo style has been followed through into the winter season and feature length special, there has even been a parody made by What Now!
